Farmison & Co win Business Website of the Year at the Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards 2016

Farmison & CoThis weekend I got the news that Farmison & Co has won ‘Business Website of the Year’ at the Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards 2016.

Farmison & Co, based in Ripon, sell the finest heritage meat from their now ‘award-winning’ website and deliver it to the door of it’s customers.

At the beginning of 2015, Farmison & Co set out to completely overhaul their business, including creating a new state-of-the-art warehouse, further developing their product offering and relaunching their business website.

I was thrilled when I got asked to join the team in-house to help them with their ambitious plans for the website. I worked alongside a small but very driven and talented team over a period of approximately 6 months to reposition the brand online, improve the overall user experience, streamline the checkout process, develop new product lines and help introduce a new mobile solution.

Winning this award is testament to the hard work and long hours the team have put in, and continue to put in and I’m thrilled with how the website and it’s overall performance has developed.

Farmison won the award with Visit Harrogate getting ‘Highly commended’, so a huge congratulations to them as well and another great website.

I’d also like to say a special congratulations to Heather Parry for winning ‘Business Personality of the Year’. I’m currently working alongside Heather and her team at the moment on some exciting projects which I hope to write about soon once complete.
